Reginald Gray was born in Dublin 1930. His portraits are in many Public and Private collections. His 1960 portrait from life of Francis Bacon is in the permanent collection of The National Portrait Gallery London, Gray is also represented in The National Portrait Gallery Australia, The Museum of London,The Dublin Writers Museum, The Royal College of Music, The Russian Academy of Music, The Bankfield Museum, and The Church of The Holy Cross, London.
